It’s nearly time for this year’s Figgie Smalls, our Belgian Strong Dark Ale. A firm cult favourite for us, it’s big, malty and sweet, and during its conditioning it rests on figs and plums. Packaging next week, available soon. Some of this batch has also made its way into Chardonnay barrels, for a very special release later in the year.

Belgian Pilsner malt, Munich, Special B, Melano, Aromatic Malt, Wheat and Dextrose. Hallertau hops for bittering. Conditioned on figs and plums. Fermented with our house Trappist Ale yeast strain.​​​​​​​
We'll be over at the fantastic The Beer Shop this evening in Nunhead Green. One of our favourite places in South, if you haven't been before, you must. Lee and Lauren have a lovely set up there and Luke Drozd who illustrates our labels also cameos behind the bar sometimes. Due to that fact, we thought it would be nice to spend an evening talking about Mondo beer and the art that adorns it. It looks like we're all full up tonight, but the beers will be pouring over the weekend and you might see Luke in the wild. Well worth a visit.​​​​​​​
It’s our 4th birthday on Saturday 15th June and we’ve got one hell of a summer party planned. We’ll be closing down Linford Street and opening the brewery up so you can enjoy the summer weather with beer pong, cornhole and table football. Food is provided by the inimitable Prairie Fire BBQ, who’ll be bringing their PFQ Burger and the best brisket in town.

If that’s not enough, we’ll be launching our first beers canned onsite (three new seasonals/collabs in 440ml) and celebrating our brand refresh and artwork in style. Exclusive event t-shirts also being printed.

Maestro has been a super successful series for us. Crushable, juicy and all those buzz words, it's flown out of the brewery. Arguably the best hop match up belongs to the third edition, G, which is loaded with Nelson Sauvin and Ekuanot. Currently in its final stage of conditioning, this will be packaged by the end of the week, ready for delivery from Monday. First pour should be in Mondo Tap tomorrow.​​​​​​​
