We’re searching for a Delivery Driver / Brewhouse Assistant to join the Mondo team. Is it you?

We are looking for a hard-working individual to fill a full-time dual role of part-time Delivery Driver (Direct London) and part-time Brewery Assistant to join our team. Ideally, you’ll live in the South West London area and possess a great knowledge of London. Reporting to our Operations team on the delivery side and our Head Brewer for the brewing side, you’ll be passionate about beer, people and community. You will be responsible for getting Mondo beer into the cellars and onto the shelves of our most valued accounts as well as working in the brewery.  This is a great entry point into the brewery industry, with previous people in post progressing into the wider brewery team.

Responsibilities, deliverables expected:

DELIVERIES:

  • Delivering Mondo beer to local accounts.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our customers.
  • Support on events logistics and deliveries.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the brewery when visiting customers.

WAREHOUSING:

  • Preparing pallets for wholesale partners.
  • Preparing daily delivery manifests and order to be sent out via our webstore.
  • Organising stock adhering to proper stock rotation processes.
  • Operating the forklift.

BREWERY:

  • Cleaning and organising kegs returned from trade.
  • Checking products are in spec before packaging.
  • Operating the kegging machine. 
  • Fermentation checks.
  • Adhering to all standard operating procedures.

GENERAL SKILL LEVEL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

  • Full, clean driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 30 and 50 litre kegs.
  • Interest in the beer industry.
  • An independent worker and problem solver with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient with basic computing and ability to train on our brewhouse software.
  • Strong record keeping, reporting and analytical abilities.
  • High standard of verbal and written communication.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Be passionate about craft beer and Mondo Brewing Company.
  • We are looking for someone who is: Punctual and clear headed, able to work to a fixed plan and adapt where necessary.
  • A great organiser, with an eye for stock management and stock rotation.
  • Has a can-do attitude towards a varied number of tasks and duties, with some flexibility
    towards your standard working hours where appropriate.

PREFERRED:

  • Forklift license.
  • Experience driving commercially in London.

SCHEDULE:

  • 8 hour shift – Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime 
  • Weekend availability (weekend fermentation checks where necessary once every 5 weeks)
