The Artist
Colouring In
In his own words, Luke Drozd ‘colours things in for a living’, including our beers. Our beer names can grow out of anywhere - the relationship formed in a collaboration, an idea that gets written up on the office board, a chance conversation on the brewhouse floor. We grow those discussions into some form of art direction for Luke, linking visually to influences/artists/pop-culture that we like. Luke runs with that initial direction, putting up with our weird suggestions and goes to work on a sketch. He’s a huge part of Mondo’s profile and his work channels through anything visual we do.
DROZD, NOT DRODZ
Luke is a multi-disciplined artist who has worked with the likes of Adam Buxton and Scroobius Pip, while producing gig posters for the world's greatest bands - The Breeders, Blink-182 and Michael Kiwanuka, to name just a few. Visit his web shop here, where we'd highly recommend his Alternative Scouting badges. Luke also performs in a number of guises and publishes music through Bloxham Tapes, described as 'experimental sounds for an unsound world'.
Thanks, Luke, we love you.
